VSAT LICENCE OVERVIEW
A Basic Telecommunications License authorizes the user to provide a telecommunications service (except voice telephony) in Ireland (i.e. data only).
A General Telecommunications License authorizes the license to provide voice telephony services .

VSAT terminal application fee EUR 100, with an
Additional annual fee per earth station EUR 100
For satellite terminals outside the band 12.5 - 12.75 GHZ and 14.0 - 14.25 GHz applications fee 400
For 2 MHz spectrum usage EUR 1000 / EUR 1250 (EIRP <50 .

NOTE
The Office of the Director of Telecommunications Regulation (ODTR) is responsible for all matters of civil radio licensing, approval and spectrum management.
