Nina Beebe manages long-term client projects in Access Partnership's Washington, D.C. office. Most recently, Nina has undertaken a study of market access and licensing requirements in 60 major markets, a comparative study of the costs of fiber and satellite links on intercontinental and international routes, and has researched U.S market access requirements for foreign carriers. In addition, Nina works with international operators to develop strategies for harnessing U.S. government support and assistance for their international marketing initiatives.
Nina joined Access Partnership after serving five years at a U.S. Treasury Department bilateral Joint Economic Commission. As a Project Officer, Nina was responsible for project negotiations, management plans, budgets and contract administration. In addition, she represented the Treasury Department in communicating policies and program strategy to officials of both U.S. and foreign government agencies, in areas as varied as national hospital systems, auditing, economic analysis, and in transportation and customs operations.
Prior to joining the Treasury Department, Nina managed bilateral research efforts and drafted policy on the West Bank, where she lived for nearly a year. Nina has also worked in mission reporting at the International Monetary Fund, in financial publishing at Euromoney, and in political development research at the Center for Political Studies at the Institute for Social Research.
She holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and in addition to English, speaks French and conversational Arabic.
