The Summit will discuss spectrum-sharing methods and models, and explore how spectrum-sharing regulatory regimes across a variety of complementary spectrum bands can be coordinated to lower the cost of broadband; allowing 5G and Internet of Things deployments and helping to connect the next 4 billion to the digital economy.
Access Partnership’s Director of Technical Advisory and Regulatory Engineering, Colin Thomson will lead a discussion on “Opportunities for Dynamic Spectrum Access in The Context of WRC-19” exploring opportunities for national regulatory authorities to employ dynamic spectrum access technology as a spectrum management tool to facilitate spectrum sharing and mitigate against interference.
