Access Partnership Took Part in a Joint Press Conference on Senegal’s Electronic Communications Code BillPosted on 14th September 2018
Senegal’s recently proposed Code of Electronic Communications threatens the access of Senegalese to Internet telephony applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype and Viber. The outcome of such a measure would be a serious blow to the country’s digital economy and democratic progress. Access Partnership’s Director for Africa, Abdou Lo took part in a joint press conference in an effort to change the text of the proposed law.
