Erika Barros Sierra
Manager, International ICT Policy
As International ICT Policy Manager, Erika analyses policy issues, political trends, processes, and regulations to provide competitive intelligence in support of client business objectives. She works closely with clients to develop public policy positions and represents their interests before national governments, industry groups, and multilateral forums.
Prior to joining Access Partnership, Erika worked with Ernst & Young in New York and London where she counselled global financial institutions on the policy issues that arise from the use of new and transformative technologies. She has substantial expertise in the design and implementation of company-wide policies and strategies to respond to ever-increasing regulatory requirements in various sectors. Erika has also worked with leading international organisations, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), where she developed studies on the impact of technology on the financial sector across Latin America and used key findings to draft tailored policy recommendations.
Erika holds a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from ITAM in Mexico City. She is qualified to practise law in New York and Mexico.Back to people directory
