Policy Director, Asia & US
Alexis Serfaty is a recognised leader in public policy, international business, and economic development with proven success managing international public affairs campaigns for Fortune 50 companies, non profits and start-ups in the US, Europe, and greater Middle East.
Prior to joining Access Partnership, Alexis served as Vice President and Chief of Staff to the US-UAE Business Council in Washington, DC, where he advised on strategic development and represented the organisation in multiple international fora. From 2012 to 2015, he worked as a Trade Policy Advisor in the Office of the Secretary at the US Department of Transportation, managing bilateral and interagency technical cooperation programs with China. Before this, he was Policy Director at the Transatlantic Business Council in Washington, DC and Brussels, where led international engagement strategies on tax, privacy and data security policy.
His work has appeared in Bloomberg, Europe’s World, and The Daily Caller, among others, and he was named as one of the “Top 99 under 33 Young Foreign Policy Leaders” by Diplomatic Courier Magazine in 2012. He also was named as the first-ever Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN) Fellow, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of William and Mary, and a Master’s Degree from Sciences Po Paris. In addition to his native English, Alexis speaks fluent French.
