As a founding partner of XVV Advogados – an award-winning law firm ranked among the most admired law firms in Brazil – Ivo has a deep understanding of technology, internet, privacy, and data protection issues, as well as a long history of working in the public sector.

In the corporate world, he was Uber’s Senior Policy Director and Google’s Policy Director, leading corporate policies and regulatory strategies in Latin America and Brazil. In the public sector, he also served as General Counsel to the Office of the President, coordinating the drafting of the federal government’s legislative agenda and the approval of various regulations in the areas of infrastructure, logistics, telecommunications, internet and access to information. Prior to that, Ivo occupied positions as a special advisor or a director at the Ministry of Justice, the Federal Senate, and the São Paulo City Hall.
